Andrei Sannikov receives birthday wishes from wife via “Narodnaya Volya” newspaper

Iryna Khalip managed to congratulate her imprisoned husband on his birthday.
The latest news from Sannikov is a short letter he sent some days ago. He writes he does not receive on time the newspapers he is subscribed to. Sometimes he does not receive press for a week or more, but then gets a pack of papers. Nevertheless, the issues of “Narodnaya Volya” newspaper with birthday wishes from his wife was delivered to him, Radio Svaboda informs.
A lawyer failed to meet Sannikov last week, because the political prisoner worked first shift. Lawyers cannot visit inmates working first shift.
We remind the presidential candidate and leader of European Belarus civil campaign, Andrei Sannikov, marked his 58th birthday on March 8.
