Exact Location Of Flagship Missile Cruiser " Moskva" Sinking Became Known

The remnants of "ship number one" of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are located at a depth of 50-60 metres.

The coordinates of the location at the bottom of the Black Sea where the remains of the Russian cruiser Moscow, which was hit by Ukrainian Neptune missiles, are buried have become known.

The remains of the Russian Black Sea Fleet flagship are located at the approximate coordinates 44°56' N 31°44' E, at a depth of 50-60 metres. This area is calculated based on additional information obtained from its own sources, Defence Express writes.

At the same time, it has become known about anomalous activity of rescue and diving vessels of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in 75 km south-west of Cape Tarkhankut. This indicates that the Russians are carrying out operations.

The coordinates where the missile cruiser was hit and its towing to port began are also known. As reported by the Russians themselves, to the port of temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The combination of this vector, direction and range from Cape Tarkhankut gives a fairly accurate area of the bottom of the Black Sea.

"If the calculations are correct, the missile cruiser Moskva is at a fairly moderate depth of 50-60 metres. This allows divers to examine the remains of the ship. If it had sunk 30-40 km to the south, even examining it at a depth of 4,600 metres would have been a much more difficult task," the experts say.

It is specified that these depths, in particular, make it possible to organize the lifting of parts of the ship and their armament.

Primarily the anti-ship P-1000 Vulkan missiles, some of which can have a nuclear charge. At the same time, however, such operations depend largely on how exactly the Moskva lay on the seabed.
