Occupants "Сrushed" Together With Equipment: Ukrainian Armed Forces Defeated Russian Forces in Donbass

The enemy lost up to 80 men in one attack alone.

The Russian occupants carried out one attack and lost up to 80 servicemen, a tank, an artillery system and an unmanned aerial vehicle in the area of responsibility of the East operational and tactical grouping.

"In addition, artillery fire destroyed an enemy ammunition depot," the East OTG Facebook page reads.

According to the report, the occupants also lost two infantry fighting vehicles, an MT-LB fighting vehicle, four AT-T tracked tractors and a mortar.

According to the press centre of the United Forces group headquarters, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed 11 attacks by Russian invaders and destroyed over 30 units of enemy equipment in Donbas overnight.

In particular, on May 20, servicemen of the United Forces grouping destroyed: 8 tanks, 3 artillery systems, 10 units of armoured combat vehicles, 3 special armoured vehicles and 6 units of automotive equipment.

In addition, anti-aircraft defence units in the skies of Ukrainian Donbass shot down an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle and a ZALA operational-tactical unmanned aerial system.

At the same time, the occupiers shelled more than 30 settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying and damaging 83 civilian facilities, including 72 residential buildings, two schools, a dormitory, the hermitage of the Svyatogorsk Holy Assumption Lavra, two shops, a sunflower-seed hangar and several household and storage facilities.

"At least four civilians were killed and five others injured as a result of the shelling. Search activities are continuing now and rescuers are still removing the rubble," the headquarters added.

Earlier, it was reported that offensive and assault actions of the Russian occupants in Donbas had intensified.

It was reported that the Ukrainian defenders managed to repel the enemy offensive in several directions.
