Russia can't cope on its own.
No positive development scenarios await Russia. After all, Vladimir Putin has built such a regime inside the country, that must be eradicated surgically.
This was stated by Doctor of Historical Sciences Yaroslav Hrytsak to "Channel 24". In his opinion, the West will play a significant role in this process.
According to Yaroslav Hrytsak, the Russians wanted a dictator like Vladimir Putin. And they got him. He has built a stable regime, from which they will come out of for a very long time.
"I don't know what will happen to Russia after Putin. But I believe that after his leaving, the war will change its character or stop. But on the other hand, I don't see anything good for Russia with or without Putin. If Ukraine has its good scenario, Russia has nothing good," he said.
There must be the strongest subjects inside for Russia to disintegrate. But Putin has destroyed such ones. The most likely scenario for an aggressor is uncontrollable chaos, which the West may try to control. And here it is important that Ukraine's interests are taken into account.
"Russia's disease has gone too far for Russia to cope on its own. It needs to be treated surgically. This means that it must change not on its own, but under pressure from the outside, such as from the West. And it is important that Ukraine's voice be heard clearly against this background," Hrytsak added.
