The law on the ban of the UOC-MP was adopted in the first reading.

On Thursday, October 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in the first reading.

Bill No. 8371 on banning religious organisations affiliated with the aggressor country Russia was passed in the first reading, New Voice reports.

In favour - 267 deputies.
