Belarus Sinks To The Bottom Of Rule Of Law Rankings

There is no such low level in any European country.

Belarus took 104th place (out of 142 countries) in the ranking, the compilers of which assessed states’ commitment to the principles of the rule of law.

There is no such low level of justice as in Belarus in any European country. And our closest neighbors in this ranking are countries of the African continent; a number of them scored the same number of “justice” points as Belarus. The situation in Russia was rated even worse — it is on the 113th place.

The ranking is published by the Global Justice Project.

Over the year, Belarus dropped another three positions in the ranking. Our country occupied its best position in this ranking back in 2016.
