‘They Left Babies As Bait’

The story of 10-month-old Israeli babies who survived a Hamas massacre has reached Biden.

On October 7, 10-month-old Roy and Guy spent 13 hours alone in a secure room at their home in Kfar Aza. Hamas terrorists killed their parents, Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky, and left the babies beside them, Detaly reported.

The babies were crying, and the terrorists decided to use them as bait for the Israeli forces. They were sitting on the balcony and eating. Several attempts to rescue the children failed, Israeli soldiers were injured.

Finally, soldiers of the 13th battalion of the Golani brigade entered the house. They saw the babies and their murdered parents. “We were all a little confused. I moved to tears. I felt like time had stopped,” company commander Ido told Channel 12.

They took the babies to their armoured personnel carrier, as well as diapers and bottles. Surprisingly, the babies no longer cried on their way despite the noise. Doctors took them soon.

Adar’s family, also living in Kfar Aza, managed to escape. She is now raising twins with Itaya's family. Meanwhile, the story of Roy and Guy even reached US President Joe Biden. Nurit, Adar's mother, said: "These children are the most precious thing we have left."
