Occupiers Lost Up To 6,500 Troops Near Avdiivka

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 100 tanks and almost 250 other hostile armoured vehicles in the area.

The Russian offensive near Avdiivka led to huge losses. Since October 10, the occupiers have lost more than 6,500 troops there.

RBC-Ukraine reported with reference to the speaker of the Tavria direction Oleksandr Shtupun on the air of a telethon.

“If we talk about the number of losses, then Avdiivka is the biggest defeat for the Russians. After all, if we count from October 10, then the total enemy losses in the Donetsk region in the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group amounted to almost 6,500 troops,” he said.

According to the speaker, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 100 tanks and almost 250 hostile armored vehicles in the area of Avdiivka. In the last 24 hours alone, five Russian tanks, including T-90, were destroyed near Avdiivka.

Shtupun also added that the occupiers have up to 40,000 near Avdiivka.
