The IDF announced the details of the operation.
The Israel Defense Forces said it had captured key Hamas strongholds in Gaza City. The Israeli army killed about 150 terrorists.
According to IDF officials, the main Hamas outpost, Bader, located near the Al-Shati refugee camp and civilian homes, was stormed. The military statement was published on the official IDF website.
They noted that during the raid on the Bader post, which was led by the 401st Brigade, Israeli troops destroyed military headquarters and terrorist missile sites.

The IDF also said it had captured another Hamas post in the area and destroyed a weapons factory, as well as rocket launch sites and tunnels. The battle with Hamas militants, as noted, took place on the coast of Gaza City, at the Blue Beach Hotel.
According to the Israeli military, 30 terrorists were hiding in the hotel and firing anti-tank missiles at the forces.

“After its capture, it became clear that the terrorists were using the hotel rooms as a hideout and to plan ground and underground attacks,” the IDF said.
In total, during the fighting in the Al-Shati area, according to the Israeli military, they eliminated about 150 Hamas militants.
