A video was published on the Instagram of Israeli actor Idan Amedi: before destroying one of the Hamas terrorist facilities, an Israeli soldier explains that they honour the memory of their fallen compatriots and fellow soldiers with this explosion.

The video contains the names of Aleksei Shamkalov and Dror Alton: in all likelihood, they were Amedi’s fellow soldiers.

Amedi is fighting in an engineering unit.

Famous Israeli singer and actor Idan Amedi was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces at the beginning of Operation Iron Swords.

Amedi played the role of Saga, an elite special forces soldier, in the famous TV series Fauda.
