Russian Citizen Flies To U.S. Without Passport Or Ticket

How is that possible?

An economist from Russia landed in the United States without a passport, visa or air ticket, Fox News channel reports, citing the case files of the Central District of California.

We are talking about Sergey Ochigava, who landed in Los Angeles on November 4. The Russian went to the USA from Copenhagen (Denmark). The crew members, according to the TV channel, did not see his boarding pass.

Law enforcement officers found a Russian man and Israeli identification cards on him, as well as a doubtful photo of his passport on his phone, which showed his name, date of birth and passport number, but without a photo of the owner of the document.

FBI Agent Caroline Walling, who filed the complaint, clarified that he last worked as an economist in Russia. “He did not remember how he got on the plane in Copenhagen. He also would not explain how or when he got to Copenhagen or what he was doing there. When asked how he got through security in Copenhagen, Ochigava claimed he did not remember how he went through security without a ticket,” according to her. The trial is currently scheduled for December 26.
