Strikes On Moscow: Defence Intelligence Drones Target Military Sites In Russia

The Defence Intelligence of the MoD of Ukraine attacked military installations in the Russian Federation, including airports in the city of Moscow, with unmanned aerial vehicles.

An UNIAN correspondent was informed about this by informed sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

“The operation of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence against the military targets of the aggressor state continues,” the source noted.

Among other things, the drones were directed towards Moscow airports.

As of 14:15 (Minsk time), the operation has not yet been completed.

The Russian authorities reported a drone attack on Moscow on Tuesday, December 19. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claims that the attack was repelled by air defense forces in the Odintsovo urban district.

It was reported that the “Carpet” plan was introduced at Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports; departures and arrivals of planes were delayed there.

Also on December 19, Russian authorities announced attacks by Ukrainian drones in the Kaluga and Bryansk regions.
