Armed Forces Of Ukraine Go Ahead, Breaking Through Russian Positions Near Kupyansk, Svatove

The Ukrainian troops occupied new bridgeheads and key heights.

Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles attack unmanned aerial systems company of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to make significant progress and knock out the enemy from the dominating heights.

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

“In the Kupyansk-Svatove line, the Defense Forces managed to block the enemy invasion, and secure an opportunity to defend our battle formations from breaking through. Over the past month, the Defense Forces have managed to make significant progress, knocked the enemy out of the dominating heights, gained a foothold and occupied the bridgeheads necessary for further strike and assault operations,” Fedorenko noted.

According to the company commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the initiative on the battlefield completely went over to the side of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

“Of course, on some short stretches of the front, the enemy is trying to accumulate forces and means in order to break through our battle formations. But during such attempts, the enemy suffers significant losses, because the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine works extremely powerfully. The initiative completely passed to the side of the Defense Forces. Every day there is work to move forward. Some days make it possible to advance up to half a kilometer, on some we fight for every meter,” Fedorenko emphasized.
