‘There Will Be Continuation’: AFU Officer Predicts New Military Coups In Russia
TARAS BEREZOVETS

Taras Berezovets believes that the internal crisis will destroy Russia.

Political strategist and officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Taras Berezovets summed up the results of Yevgeny Prigozhin's rebellion with UNIAN, and predicted similar shocks for the Russian Federation in the future.

“Firstly, this rebellion brewed doubts among Russian officers about the successful completion of the war. Now the SSU and the Defense Intelligence of the Ukrainian MoD will recruit occupiers and this process will become easier. Therefore, the rebellion helped us unambiguously. And the “Wagnerites” destroyed 6 helicopters that could work against Ukraine. Moreover, Prigozhin's mercenaries destroyed a storage facility with kerosene for Russian aviation in Voronezh. These were critical reserves for the southern grouping of Russian troops,” Berezovets said.

The political scientist also stressed that there will definitely be another attempt at a military coup in Russia.

“It was the first attempt, which did not end even with a climax. It cannot be so that no more such attempts happen. If such a scenario has already begun, then there will be a second attempt, and even, perhaps, a third. This story will continue, because the “Wagnerites” themselves decided to stop the campaign against Moscow,” Berezovets added.

The officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that it is easy for him to imagine the next attacks of the “Russian rebels” on Voronezh.

“They may not go to Moscow again, but some defeated brigades of the occupying army may enter Donetsk and start looting. Rob markets, and destroy the so-called “people's militia” or the National Guard. The rebels will look for the generals who were hiding in the rear and will try to shoot them,” Berezovets said.

It is important to note that on June 23, Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin announced a march on Moscow. Events developed rapidly and the very next day the Wagnerites entered Rostov and took control of all military facilities, and then moved on to Moscow. The march ended 200 kilometers before Moscow.
