VChK-OGPU: 'Bad News' Simply No Longer Delivered To Putin

The head of the Kremlin doesn't want to hear them.

The Russian VChK-OGPU Telegram channel, which specialises in insiders from the offices of power, has revealed that Putin has stopped receiving bad news, especially about the war, because he reacts "in an extremely irritated" way to it.

"According to an interlocutor familiar with the situation, the way Putin would react to reports with the real situation was as follows: he would tell the reporter in an irritated manner that he is currently under the influence of 'Western propaganda', thickening the 'clouds' following it, whereas Putin himself has more reliable information from other sources that does not coincide with the reporters' information. The speaker himself, meanwhile, dropped out of the list of people who have access to the Russian president for a long time. On the other hand, those who reported only successes were given constant access, while defeats and failures were reduced to petty nuisances of no significance", the telegram channel writes.

The source says that at the moment Putin has simply stopped receiving "bad news" because the president does not want to hear it.
