Danilov: The Very Fact Of Terrorist Attack At ZNPP By Russians Will Be Considered Nuclear Weapons Use
OLEKSIY DANILOV

The consequences will be “absolutely catastrophic for the Russian Federation.”

Civilized countries will perceive the very fact of the terrorist act of the Russian invaders at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant as the use of nuclear weapons against the civilian population.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the statement of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov on the air of Radio Liberty.

“The very fact that these terrorists commit such a terrorist attack on a nuclear facility will be considered by all civilized countries as the use of nuclear weapons against the civilian population. Therefore, we will observe very carefully — if God forbid this happens — what the reaction of the world to these events will be,” Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that the reaction of the world to the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station “did not correspond to the terrorist attack that Ukraine experienced”.

According to him, Ukraine is now doing “everything possible and impossible” to prevent this terrorist attack from happening, but the nuclear power plant is now “in the hands of terrorists”.

Danilov also suggested that some Western partners are now explaining to Russia that this should not be done, because the consequences would be “absolutely catastrophic for the Russian Federation”.

Commenting on the likelihood of a terrorist attack by Russians at the Zaporizhzhia power plant, he noted that it is difficult to say now, because “these people are not predictable, they act outside of any norms and rules of the world community.”

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added that after information about a possible terrorist attack in Ukraine, they conducted a “big training” and there was “one more training”.

“We have our protocols, our plans, how we should act. A lot of training has now taken place, and one more training has taken place if this terrorist act occurs on the part of the Russian Federation,” Danilov said.
