Girkin Explains How AFU Artillery Covered Russian Federation Battalion

The unit did not even have time to properly join the battle.

One of the former leaders of the “DPR” militants Igor Strelkov-Girkin, during an interview, spoke about how the Tatar battalion “Alga” was completely defeated and destroyed in the Donetsk region near Vuhledar, writes Dialogue.

According to him, the unit of the Russian army did not even have time to properly engage in battle: the battalion commanders ordered the formation of military personnel to hold a rally with flags and banners, which delayed the departure of the column for 15 minutes. This time was enough for the intelligence of the Ukrainian army to detect the accumulation of the Russians, after which the coordinates were transferred to the artillery units.

As a result of a concentrated attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the battalion was defeated. The remnants of the units of the RF Armed Forces began to disperse to the sides and ran into the installed minefields.
