AFU Managed To Localize Russian ‘Big Offensive’ On Lyman-Kupyansk Line

An enemy grouping of more than 100,000 personnel operates in this direction.

The Russians cannot seize the initiative, the Defense Forces localized the so-called big offensive of the enemy on the Kupyansk-Lyman line.

This was stated by the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Serhiy Cherevaty on the air of the telethon, RBC-Ukraine reports.

Cherevaty said that during the day on the line Kupyansk-Lyman there were 568 attacks, 17 air raids, as well as four vain assaults on the enemy in the areas of Masyutivka and Lyman Pershy.

The Defense Forces destroyed:

20 invaders,

55 were injured,

a Grad rocket system was hit,

two mortars,

two kamikaze drones “Lancet”,

reconnaissance drone “Orlan-10”.

“They try to hit them with artillery and aircraft as much as possible, after which they storm. This has been happening for several months in a row, they have not even achieved any local success. The “big offensive” that they announced in the spring has been localized, they cannot seize the initiative,” Cherevaty said.

Earlier, Cherevaty reported that an enemy grouping of more than 100 thousand personnel, more than 900 tanks and 370 multiple launch rocket systems is operating in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction. Approximately such forces were used by the USSR during the war in Afghanistan.
