Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Reveals Details Of Massive Attack On Pskov

Four Russian Il-76s have been destroyed, not just damaged.

Aircraft of the occupiers were destroyed and damaged at the airfield of the Russian city of Pskov on the night of August 30. Previously, four transport aircraft Il-76s were destroyed.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence confirmed this, in a comment to Babel. Recall: It was an unmanned aerial vehicle strike against the Russian city of Pskov.

“There is accurate data on the destruction of four Il-76s aircraft and several other damages,” said the representative of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence.

Russian troops use IL-76 as a troop carrier.

It is known that the 76th Guards Airborne Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation is based in Pskov (about 700 km from Ukraine). The approximate cost of one new Il-76 is about 5 billion rubles (USD 52,096,896.43).

The media wrote that the 76th Airborne Division of the aggressor country participated in the occupation of Ukrainian Bucha in the spring of 2022.
