A fire broke out at the Volodarskaya Production and Dispatch Station.
On the night of October 6, the Moscow Region came under the most massive drone attack in recent memory—at least 650 drones were heading toward the region, with more than a hundred of them flying toward the Russian capital. As a result of the raid, the largest oil depot in the Moscow Region—the “Volodarskaya” linear production and dispatch station—caught fire, according to Astra.
The official version from Russian authorities boils down exclusively to the operation of air defense systems, with no mention of infrastructure facilities, fires, or casualties.

“Between 8:30 p.m. on October 5 and 5 a.m. on October 6, 650 UAVs were flying toward the Moscow region. Most of them were destroyed by air defense forces at long ranges. 105 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow,” said the mayor of the Russian capital Sergey Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.
According to Sobyanin, only “falling debris” was recorded in the city, and there was reportedly no damage or other consequences.

The fuel depot that supplies Moscow’s airports is on fire
OSINT channels reported a large-scale fire in the village of Konstantinovo, Ramenskoye Urban District, as early as dawn. An Astra analyst pinpointed a video from the Supernova+ channel and determined that the source of the fire is located on the grounds of the aforementioned oil facility.
“The ‘Volodarskaya’ Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPDS) ‘Volodarskaya’ (the largest oil depot and dispatch center for main petroleum product pipelines in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation, near the town of Volodarskoye and the village of Konstantinovo),” the analysts write.
As of 5:30 a.m., the fire had not been extinguished, according to Exilevova+. Eyewitnesses report that at least two tanks are on fire, although there was no official information about a strike on this facility at the time of publication.
What is known about the Volodarskaya Oil Product Distribution Station
The station’s significance extends far beyond a single district. It is part of OJSC “AK Transnefteprodukt” and allows for the separate storage and pumping via pipelines of automotive gasoline, aviation fuel, and diesel fuel through separate pipelines, with an annual throughput of 3 million metric tons of petroleum products.

Raw materials are delivered here from the Moscow and Ryazan refineries, and an extensive network of product pipelines connects the terminal directly to Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo.
There had been no previous reports of attacks on the “Volodarskaya” LDPs.
Air defense systems struck a high-rise building near the Kremlin
Alongside official reports of the “successful” operation of these weapons, evidence of the opposite effect has appeared online. According to monitoring channels, in Kotelniki, near Moscow, Russian air defense systems effectively targeted a residential high-rise building—a drone was directed into the building using electronic warfare systems.
The Russian side did not report on the number of casualties in Kotelniki, nor did it provide information on the causes of the fire in Konstantinovo.
