Lipschitz: Putin's Economy Is Falling Apart
Igor Lipits

An economist identified Russia's weakest link.

Igor Lipits shared information about the economic situation within the Russian Federation: “A huge number of crises are mounting in Russia. None of them is all-encompassing, none of them is fatal, but if they coincide in time, there is a danger of a domino effect, where a large bridge collapses under the weight of the soldiers’ weak legs as they walk across it. This is exactly what’s happening, and a resonance effect is possible because there are simply too many problems.”

In an interview with Alexander Demchenko on YouTube.

“I’m assuming that there are still people to exploit in Russia, and there are still resources to exploit, so the Russian government will be very active in this regard. They’re raising taxes, they’ll be introducing all sorts of fees, and this could all last for quite a while. How long—I can’t say. It’s extremely difficult to predict the economy of such a large country. There are too many factors. There’s another side to this. You might expect it to hold out for several years, but it could collapse in a couple of months. “That’s how it goes, because in such complex systems there are always weak links that can snap at any moment, and this will trigger a chain reaction throughout the entire system,” Lipits said.

“I’ll say it again: in systems like this, you never know for sure when a weak link will snap. If you’re familiar with the field, people who study these things believe that the strength of any system is determined by its weakest link. The weakest link in Russia is the economy. The military may still hold out, and the top leadership will try to hold on, but Russia’s economy has become the weakest link. It’s falling apart, it’s collapsing, and a host of problems are piling up within it. “Only the lazy aren’t talking about these problems inside Russia anymore, and even the most loyal are starting to tell scary stories,” the expert emphasized.
