Ukrainian Forces Neutralized More Than 300 Occupiers And Enemy Weapons On Front

The Ukrainian Defenсe Forces are holding the initiative.

Ukrainian defenders destroyed 135 Russian invaders and wounded 177 more during the day in the Tavria direction, according to the United Press Center of the Tavria Defence Forces.

It is noted that in the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group in the Marinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region.

“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has made 10 unsuccessful attempts to defeat our units and capture the positions here. At the same time, in the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Defenсe Forces are holding the initiative, putting pressure on the enemy, carrying out assault operations and recapturing our land,” the message reads.

The Press Center informed missile and artillery units of the Tavria Defence Forces carried out 1,090 fire missions during the day.

“The total enemy losses amounted to 313 troops (irrecoverable - 135, wounded - 177, captured - 1). 31 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, two armoured fighting vehicles, four artillery systems and mortars, one air defence system, one anti-tank missile system, 13 UAVs, eight units of automotive equipment and two units of special equipment. Two ammunition depots and one other important enemy facility were also destroyed,” the Press Center said.
