Defense Intelligence: Russian Generals Surovikin And Yudin Opposed War With Ukraine

“General Armageddon” will be blamed for the attacks on Moscow.

Russian generals Sergey Surovikin and Andrey Yudin opposed the war with Ukraine, said Kirylo Budanov, head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ukrainian MoD, in an interview for Crimea.Realii.

“Yudin in the Main Operational Directorate is one of the really important planners. He personally opposed all this and said that it would lead to disaster. He is one of the main non-public critics among the military leadership of the Russian Federation, namely the military, who says that all this is a disaster and the further the worse. Surovikin was also against all this,” Budanov said.

“There always has to be someone to blame. Since he is the commander of the Military Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, this is his area of responsibility. One way or another, he must be removed,” the head of the Defense Intelligence believes.

Earlier, it was reported that Surovikin was removed from the post of commander of the aerospace forces, but left at the disposal of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Before that, information appeared in the media that Surovikin was removed and ordered to remain silent, “until he is forgotten”. Russian media reported that Surovikin was put under “house arrest”, although there was no official investigation against him.
