Ukrainian Ministry Of Defense Named Main Condition For Ending War With Russia

The aggressor country should not be an exception.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk said that the war between Russia and Ukraine should end with negotiations and the aggressor country renouncing nuclear weapons.

Havryliuk noted in an interview with Tagesspiegel that all wars in the world end in negotiations, and therefore the war between Ukraine and Russia should not be an exception.

According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, when signing any document, Russia must renounce nuclear weapons. The war will end with the return of all territories of Ukraine, however, it is necessary to create a mechanism that will make it impossible for the enemy to attack again.

“Agreements will be signed — on the one side, by a coalition of states that support Ukraine, and by Russia on the other side. And this document must contain a clause on Russia’s renunciation of nuclear weapons, because this state is a threat to peace,” explained the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
