You Are Charter’s Gold!

Your help is now as important as it ever was.

Dear friends! Charter’97 has been at the forefront of the fight against the Lukashenka regime for more than 25 years.

We called Lukashenka a dictator before it was mainstream. We were talking about the revolution when everyone was talking about "stability". We were covering the protests, giving people hope.

That is why the regime killed the founder of our website, Aleh Biabienin, in 2010, crushed the editorial office, arrested the Editor-in-Chief Natallia Radzina and blocked Charter’97 in 2017.

Despite forced migration, blocking, and limited resources, we remain the most widely read independent website in Belarus, and we keep successfully resisting the propaganda of Putin and Lukashenka.

It is thanks to you, our faithful readers, that the Charter97.org website is working, and the country has hope for change.

We need your support today. Therefore, we launched another opportunity to help our team – the Patreon platform. You can become our patron and monthly support Charter’97 with your own amount.

How does Patreon work?

This is a modern platform through which creators and media can raise donations.

You can subscribe to Charter'97 on Patreon by selecting your own donation amount to support us.

The system will offer you either to create an account with a password or to log in via email or social media account. Then you can make your transfer.

You'll be charged on the day you subscribe the first time you pay. The amount you select will then be charged on the first of every month.

It’s important: the payment goes directly to the platform, and the payment services do not display who you decided to support, which makes support through Patreon the safest way to help us from Belarus.

You can change your donation amount or unsubscribe at any time in your Patreon account.

We would like to remind you that you can support us through PayPal and donations to the Charter'97 Foundation.

We really need your help. Every patron counts!
