Political Scientist: Agreements On Security Of Ukraine With Partners Caused Hysteria Among Russians

“It's actually NATO.”

Ukraine has already signed an agreement on security guarantees with three allied states. These are quite powerful agreements that will help the country fight the enemy more effectively.

Political analyst Taras Zahorodnyi, in an interview with 24 Channel, noted that the most important thing in these security guarantees is military support, for which partners will annually allocate considerable amounts. In addition, it is a good indicator that these are long-term agreements.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited France and Germany, where he signed security guarantees for Ukraine with the leaders of these states.

"These are very good agreements — Zelensky was promised during the Vilnius summit. This, by the way, is what made the Russians hysterical, because they got the words correctly. This is actually NATO only without Article 5 and without a promise to fight for Ukraine," explained Taras Zagorodnyi.

It should be noted that the agreement refers to long-term support for Ukraine for 10 years. By the way, a similar agreement was signed with the UK in January this year. The document provides for the support valid until Ukraine joins NATO.

"It is important what is said about military support! That is, Germany gives about 7 billion, the UK – 3 billion, and France, I think, also 3 billion. If we take into account all 30 countries that pledge to help Ukraine, they will allocate us about 30 billion a year," the political scientist concluded.
