Fighting For Avdiivka: Ukrainian Soldier Fires At Enemy With Grenade Launcher From Three Metres

A Ukrainian border guard has told how he fired at the occupants with a grenade launcher during the fighting for Avdiivka, Donetsk region. It is noteworthy that the enemies were no more than three metres away.

This is reported by the State border guard service of Ukraine.

"We saw that the occupants are gathering in the house opposite. Wanted to strike them with "Mukha" (RPG-18 grenade launcher, - ed.). My brother-in-arms and I ran out onto the road, after which we saw that the Russians were no longer in the house, but three metres in front of us.... We ran with grenades and shouted: "Surrender, you will live!" he said.

After that, the border guards shot no longer at the house, but at the Russians.

"I do not know by some miracle, he was lucky, one of them, falling down, caught a ricochet from "Mukha". After that we stepped back and met them already in the courtyard. The occupant was so frightened by the shot that he threw a grenade and forgot to pull the "check" and was destroyed. And his group retreated back," Husky added.
