Belarusian Criticising Lithuania Deprived Of His Residence Permit

However, not for the scandalous interview.

The Lithuanian Department of Migration has deprived of a permanent residence permit of a Belarusian, who spoke negatively about the country and its citizens. This is reported by Tv3.lt.

According to the publication, the Belarusian had his residence permit revoked not because of his statements about Lithuania and its citizens, but because of the violation of labour laws: he declared one place of work, but was actually working in another place.

The migration services are still consulting with the police and state security bodies about the scandalous interview, said the head of the Migration Department Evelina Gudzinskaite to journalists.

We remind you that earlier, the Lithuanian Department of Migration launched an investigation against the Belarusian, who has a permanent residence permit in this country. The reason was an interview for the YouTube channel of Mylimiausia Lietuva.

The Belarusian said in the interview with the blogger that he didn't learn Lithuanian, because he didn't respect the language and didn't need it. He called local politicians "fools" and complained that there's nowhere to rest in Lithuania. He also said that the locals can understand him, but they do not want to speak Russian with him.
