General Staff: Ukrainian Armed Forces Set Record For Neutralizing Russian Invaders In One Day

This has not happened before.

Last Sunday, May 12, the Russian occupation army suffered a record loss of 1,740 soldiers (according to preliminary data, this includes killed, wounded and captured), the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on its official page on Facebook.

It is worth noting that such a number of Russian invaders neutralized in one day during this full-scale war has never been observed. At the same time, all combat losses of Russian personal troops for the period from the beginning of the invasion from February 24, 2022 to May 13, 2024 are approximately 484,030 people.

In addition, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on May 12, the Russian invaders lost 31 tanks, 42 armored fighting vehicles, about 59 vehicles and tanks, 26 drones, as well as many pieces of other equipment; complete data is provided in the summary table published by the Ukrainian defense department.
