The IDF says an Iranian attack is imminent.
The Israel Defence Forces have brought forces to a state of high alert. The IDF says it is prepared for a potential attack by Iran or the Hezbollah terrorist organisation in Lebanon.
At the same time, there were no changes in the rules of conduct in emergency situations for the civilian population. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the representative of the Israel Defence Forces Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, an Iranian attack on Israel is inevitable. He emphasised that the military are on "high alert" in case of a potential attack.
"In recent days, we have been monitoring our enemies and developments in the Middle East, especially Hezbollah and Iran," Hagari said.
The Israeli Air Force has increased patrols over Lebanon to detect and intercept threats. The IDF said they take enemy claims seriously and are therefore preparing at the highest level for both defence and offensive operations.
The Israeli military stressed that the army will not give Israel's enemies an intelligence or operational advantage. Israel set a high level of readiness for its military for the first time this month after witnessing Iran and Hezbollah preparing to carry out attacks.
We remind you that an updated Israeli intelligence assessment indicates that Iran is prepared to attack Israel directly. This is likely to happen within the next few days.
