Russia’s got troubles.
The increase in the Russian army staff by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is evidence of the aggressor's problems in the war with Ukraine. Because the enemy lacks human resources, with which he is trying to compensate for the lack of equipment.
Military-political expert of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko shared this in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, stating that the increase in the size of the Russian army by dictator Vladimir Putin indicates the aggressor's problems in the war against Ukraine. This is because the enemy lacks manpower, which it is trying to use to compensate for the shortage of equipment.
According to the expert, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, these actions have become a tradition, as the Russians regularly increase the overall size of their army because they lack the necessary manpower.
“This exclusively emphasizes that they are facing difficulties in the war with Ukraine because they lack human resources, which are becoming the main focus as their equipment supplies dwindle,” Kovalenko said.
The expert explained that the enemy is now experiencing a more significant shortage of equipment. Therefore, they are trying to compensate for each piece of equipment with increased human resources. This is why the Russians are increasing the size of their army.
“In the future, the Russian army will become a large marching battalion, mostly consisting of infantry with very little equipment. They almost have no production left now, just some restoration efforts, but no real production,” Kovalenko explained.
He added that Russia wants to mobilize more people, but “people are not coming”.
“Even now, they are offering 2 million rubles to recruit volunteers. They are facing mobilization problems, and in the future, this will become a more repressive format because no one wants to join their army,” Kovalenko concluded.
