SSU Head Personally Detains High-Ranking Russian ‘Mole’

The head of the SSU Anti-Terrorist Center Headquarters turned out to be a Russian agent.

The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed a high-ranking Russian agent in its ranks; the subject was detained by the Head of the special service, Vasyl Malyuk. This was reported by the press service of the department and a video was published with the head's story.

The head of the SSU personally was part of the operational investigative group that was developing the traitor and led the operation to detain him. Vasyl Malyuk reported directly to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about all stages of the special operation.

“This was an extremely complex development and subsequent multi-step implementation, during which we used all possible overt and covert forms and methods of our activities, as well as the entire possible palette of operational and technical measures. Using encrypted software backdoors, we penetrated the traitor's gadgets — mobile terminals, computers.

We practically lived with him, conducted audio and video surveillance. In the process of all this, we managed to qualitatively document the traitor's collection and transmission of relevant information to the enemy,” said Vasyl Malyuk. He also noted that the SSU had been transmitting disinformation to the FSB through the traitor for a long time: first as part of counterintelligence activities, and later as part of criminal proceedings.
