The Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, reports that a drone was shot down over the Volkhov River in the Kirishi District.

There is silence on social media - after last year's fire videos from Ust-Luga and Vyborg, everyone was told to shut up.

But there is enough of what Drozdenko told in his victory reports. What do we have in Kirishi near the Volkhov River?

That's right. One of Russia's largest oil refineries, KINEF, belongs to the oil company Surgutneftegaz, beloved by Vladimir Putin.

The plant supplies fuel to Northwest Russia and the Kaliningrad Region. Most likely, it was the target of the drone attack.

At the same time, the plant is located 1,500 km from the combat zone, but apparently almost three years after the start of the so-called "special military operation", the entire territory of Russia has become a combat zone.
