The drones were flying toward residential buildings.

A downed Russian drone caused a fire in two residential buildings in the village of Murovane in the Lviv region on October 13. Three other vehicles were damaged. There are no reports of fatalities or injuries yet; all emergency services are on the scene, reported the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozitsky.

“According to preliminary information, during an air raid alert, a downed enemy drone crashed into a residential building in the village of Murovane in the Lviv region. Two houses are on fire,” he wrote. The final extent of the damage is still being assessed.

This time, Russia used jet-powered drones against western Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, such drones were detected over the region after 6:00 a.m. Minsk time. One of them was flying toward Peremyshliany, Vynnyky, and Sknyliv.

In Lviv, explosions were heard before reports of damage emerged. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi urged residents to take shelter: “Attention! An enemy drone is heading toward Lviv. Move to a safe place! Air defense systems are active!” Later, he reported that a drone had struck a residential building in Murovane, a community that directly borders Lviv.

That same morning, Russian troops attacked Dnipro. The Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration reported that in one of the city’s districts, the shock wave from an explosion shattered windows in several high-rise buildings. Later, Hanzha clarified that a 64-year-old man had been injured; medical personnel provided him with the necessary care, but he refused hospitalization. The morning strikes damaged a transportation infrastructure facility, high-rise buildings, and vehicles.

Residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure were targeted. One of the missiles struck a four-story apartment building, completely destroying the entrance.
