SpaceX May Have Restricted Starlink Operations In Ukraine

The Ukrainian military did not receive any warning about the changes.

On the night of October 14, SpaceX imposed speed limits on Starlink terminals while in motion in Ukraine. This was announced by Sergey (Flash) Beskrestnov on his Telegram channel.

He noted that, at this time, the restrictions apply to the so-called “military package.” Specifically, this refers to StarShield services, whose speed has been limited to no more than 100 miles (approximately 161 km) per hour.

“Our defense forces did not receive any warning about this restriction, and this led to the disruption of a number of missions. It is clear that this action cannot be a coincidence and is linked to the current political situation,” Flash emphasized.
