The Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Liberated Three More Settlements Near Lyman

A map of the offensive operations over the past 24 hours has been published.

Ukrainian defense forces have fully liberated the towns of Kolodezi and Lipove in the Lyman District of Donetsk Oblast. This is indicated by a map from the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState.

According to DeepState, over the past day, Ukrainian troops not only liberated two settlements in the Liman District but also Zelenaya Dolina in the Kramatorsk District of Donetsk Oblast, and regained control of Stavka and Shandrigolovo there. Fighting continues on this section of the front.

As a reminder, this past summer, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an offensive in the Lyman direction to prevent Russian occupiers from reaching the approaches to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. This operation is called “Vivaldi.” By October, the operation’s objective had been achieved.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained control of 176 square kilometers of territory in the Lyman area. The Ukrainian army continues its offensive in the Lyman area, but the Russian Federation’s army is attempting to counterattack.

According to information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on October 13, Russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions seven times in the Lyman sector. All attacks were repelled.
