Zelenskyy Made A Candid Admission About Attempts By “influential People” To Remove Him From Power

The President of Ukraine explained the reason.

Some “influential people” want to “remove” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from power. The Ukrainian leader said this in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan.

Zelenskyy believes that attempts are being made to “remove him from power” because he will never recognize as Russian those Ukrainian territories that have been temporarily occupied by the Russian military. He emphasized once again that the Russian military’s occupation of Ukrainian territory is a temporary phenomenon.

According to him, these territories will return to Ukraine in any case, possibly “without weapons” (that is, through diplomatic means—ed.). The Ukrainian president did not name the “influential people” who want to “replace” him (as president of Ukraine—Ed.).

He added that because of his position on the territorial issue during peace talks to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, attempts are being made to “remove him from power.”

As a reminder, on October 10 of this year, U.S. President Donald Trump stated during a conversation with journalists that “it is time for Ukraine to elect a new leader”. He claims that Zelenskyy allegedly had several opportunities to end the war but “did not take advantage of them.”
On October 11, American billionaire Elon Musk also said that “it is time for Ukraine to find a new leader,” thereby expressing support for Trump. According to him, “Zelenskyy has gone too far.”
