A Hospital Building In The Historic Center Of Grodno Has Been Put Up For Auction

In Grodno, the buildings of a local, now-defunct hospital on Gagarin Street have been put up for auction, according to website of the “BUTB-Property” platform.
Three buildings are up for auction:
the hospital (3,882 sq. m, built in 1969),
City Hospital No. 2 (2,584 sq. m, built in 1985),
a reception building with two terraces (49 sq. m, built in 1985).
The total area, including the landscaped grounds, is over 6,940 sq. m.
The sale also includes the right to lease a land plot covering over 1.2 hectares.
“The real estate properties located at 5 Gagarin Street, Grodno, are situated within the territory of the immovable material historical and cultural heritage site ‘Historical Center of Grodno,’” the description states.
The starting price is 10,599,058 rubles; the auction is scheduled for November 2.
It should be noted that the Church of Our Lady of the Angels is located nearby. Meanwhile, the historic building of the Second Clinical Hospital on Gagarin Street (which is not included in this lot) was closed in early June 2026. It was anticipated that a hotel, dormitory, or rental housing might be built on the site of the clinic.
