The U.S. Is Working On Arranging A Meeting Between Zelenskyy And Putin

There are specific proposals.

U.S. authorities are already working to arrange a meeting between the Ukrainian president and the Russian dictator.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a conversation with journalists, according to RBC-Ukraine.

“The U.S. is working on a meeting (between Zelenskyy and Putin—Ed.), and they have proposals,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.

According to him, the talks could take place in one of the Middle Eastern countries.

Trump’s team has already floated several options, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.

It is also possible that the meeting could take place in the U.S. during the G20 summit, though there has been no confirmation of this information yet from either Washington or Moscow.

“This meeting could take place in one of the European countries. I know that the Europeans are starting to reach out about this. We’ll see what happens a little later,” Zelenskyy concluded.

Putin Still Refuses to Meet with Zelenskyy

The President of Ukraine has repeatedly offered the Russian dictator one-on-one talks.

According to Zelenskyy, such a meeting would help bring the end of the war significantly closer.

The head of state emphasized that he is ready to travel to any neutral country, but Putin has rejected all possible options.

The Kremlin leader continues to insist that he can meet with Zelenskyy only in Moscow.
