Lavrov chooses partners who are his equal.

When we write about Lavrov’s partners in Germany—“Alternative for Germany”—we often use the term “Nazi” in reference to this organization. One could use the phrase “far-right,” but that is a misleading term that obscures the true nature of this organization. After all, it operates in a world of political correctness, including in Germany, where the historical context is well understood. That is why, for the time being, it must conceal its true nature.

Now the veil has been lifted—the AfD’s email system has been hacked (the party has confirmed the breach). So what do Lavrov’s partners look like in their internal correspondence? What are the party leaders discussing there?
The press reports that it includes Nazi salutes, anti-Semitic theories, mockery of refugees, and shooting at them at the border. In addition, there are disputes over Holocaust denial and the glorification of Adolf Hitler.
Can you imagine anything like this being discussed within the leadership of any normal party? And it’s no coincidence. “AdG” is the triumphant howl of a creature from the abyss into which it seemed to have fallen forever when Nazism was crushed by the United Nations.

Incidentally, Lavrov and the rest of the “diplomatic” crowd—as well as other riffraff—are just as indiscriminate in their choice of “partners,” in the spirit of the Stalinist tradition of 1939. That, too, is a kind of continuity.
