After landing, the aircraft was sent for inspection by bomb disposal experts, and the passengers were transferred to the airport terminal. The airport temporarily suspended operations.

The day before, on November 2, a Wizz Air flight traveling from London to Sofia made an emergency landing at Budapest Airport due to a bomb threat.
