A Major Fire Broke Out At The Market In Lida

The cause is being determined.

Fourteen market stalls caught fire at a small market in Lida on the morning of November 8, according to the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations. No one was injured.

An eyewitness alerted emergency responders to the fire at the market on Tukhachevsky Street. When they arrived at the scene, 14 market stalls were already on fire. No one was inside them.

Six fire trucks from the Ministry of Emergency Situations fought the fire.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
