They continue to advance deeper into the occupied territory.

Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully landed on the left bank of the Kherson region and secured their positions. They are now continuing to advance deeper into the occupied territory.

Colonel Alim Kerimov, chief of staff of the 34th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke about this in an interview with the “Radio Svoboda. Crimea.Realities” by Colonel Alim Kerimov, Chief of Staff of the 34th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He also explained how Russian troops’ tactics have changed in the Kherson sector.

According to Kerimov, Ukrainian marines are holding positions on the left bank of the Dnieper and in the island zone.

“Overall, we have many positions on the left bank, where rotations take place on an ongoing basis. And we are advancing throughout this island zone and, frankly speaking, will end up in some settlement on the left bank,” the military officer said.

The colonel did not name the settlement where Ukrainian forces had managed to establish a foothold, nor did he specify how far they had advanced.

He noted that the marines are not only holding their current lines but also continuing to storm enemy positions.
