Syrsky gave the numbers for January.
In January, Ukrainian drones killed nearly 30,000 Russian occupiers, exceeding the rate of mobilization in the Russian Federation and creating a technological advantage on the battlefield.
About this announced the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, in January UAV units hit 66.2 thousand targets. Thanks to the work of the drones, it was possible to eliminate almost 29.7 thousand occupants, while the enemy was able to recruit only 22 thousand people in a month.
- This is the difference to which we aspire: to destroy more soldiers than Russia manages to put into service. This is also the effectiveness of our UAVs, which, if further increased, will force Moscow to stop the invasion war," Sirsky emphasized.
He added that Ukraine maintains an advantage in the use of FPV drones, and the ground-based robotic systems carried out a quarter more missions in January than in December.
Russia plans to significantly increase the number of its unmanned troops - up to 165,000 within a year. The occupiers are already introducing new Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet drones, as well as their own interceptor drones.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that the current war has turned into a technology competition where the one who realizes the advantage on the battlefield faster wins.
- All this stimulates us to search faster for our own revolutionary technological and management solutions to counter Russian UAVs and overcome the enemy's echeloned air defense," he stressed.
Additional battalions of unmanned systems will be introduced into the staffs of individual assault regiments and brigades of the TRO to strengthen the frontline.
