Russian GRU General Alekseev Assassination Attempt: Suspect Being Brought From Dubai

An accomplice was detained along with him.
Two suspects have emerged in the case of the attempted assassination of Deputy Chief of the Russian GRU Vladimir Alekseev. According to the investigation, one of them shot the general with three bullet wounds.
The two suspects will soon be brought in for questioning, after which they are expected to be charged and a measure of restraint will be chosen in court if their involvement is confirmed, Kommersant reports.
The criminal case was opened under articles on attempted murder (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code) and illegal arms trafficking (part 1 of article 222 of the Criminal Code).
Telegram channel Baza claims that the general's shooter "is being brought from Dubai." An accomplice has been detained along with him.
As for Vladimir Alekseev, he has recovered from surgery and is conscious.
"Doctors cautiously say there is no threat to life," TASS reported, citing sources among doctors.
