On the night of Saturday, June 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against Russian strategic targets in annexed Crimea.
A gas distribution station near the village of Zhuravlevka was targeted, reports Dialog.UA, based on an analysis of social media and messaging apps.

An air raid alert was declared in occupied Crimea on the evening of June 19. Shortly thereafter, the first explosions were heard across the peninsula. Russian military and strategic facilities in various parts of the peninsula came under attack. There were particularly many explosions in the Simferopol area.
Crimean residents report that drones attacked a gas distribution station near the village of Zhuravlevka, outside Simferopol. A major fire was reported in the area.
The design capacity of the “Zhuravlevka” gas distribution station is 0.06 million cubic meters per hour. It is supplied by a high-pressure main gas pipeline.
The "Zhuravlevka" gas distribution station supports the operations of Russian occupiers in annexed Crimea, and is therefore a legitimate target for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The destruction of the “Zhuravlevka” gas distribution station is an important victory for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was under attack by Ukrainian drones for several hours. The strikes occurred every 10–15 minutes. A fire was reported on the grounds of this strategic facility.
Residents of Crimea reported that on the night of June 20, they heard explosions in the areas of Armyansk, Bakhchisaray, Sevastopol, and other settlements on the occupied peninsula. The main attack targeted Simferopol and Sevastopol.
