It has been confirmed that Ukraine successfully struck the Tyumen Oil Refinery—one of the largest in Western Siberia. Damage to the facility is visible in satellite images.
The images were published by the Ukrainian OSINT project Dnipro Osint.

The strike took place early last week, on June 21. Long-range Ukrainian FP-1 UAVs were used for the attack. They successfully flew about 2,000 km before striking the facility.

After analyzing satellite imagery, Dnipro Osint concluded that a diesel deep-processing unit had been hit.

The Tyumen Oil Refinery is Russia’s largest privately owned oil refinery. It has a capacity of up to 9 million metric tons of crude oil per year, with a refining depth of up to 98%. It produces up to 20 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, and fuel oil.
It is the only major refinery in Western Siberia, and its importance to the region is immense. Its products are mainly sold on the domestic market. A strike against such a large facility would exacerbate the fuel crisis in Russia.
