Zelenskyy: Putin's Camp Supports Ukraine On Ending The War

According to the President of Ukraine, “they understand what’s going on there.”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has support within Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s inner circle regarding ending the war.

He made this announcement during an evening video address on Friday, July 10.

“Today, there are new results of our Defense Forces’ actions in the form of far-reaching sanctions against Russia. The gasoline crisis in Russia is worsening—and this is a fair response to Putin’s unwillingness to end this war. We have put forward proposals on how to bring peace closer. We see support for the idea of peace not only from our partners around the world, but also from within Putin’s inner circle. They understand what is happening and that there is no alternative to peace,” said the head of state.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that “this sentiment in Russia will only grow stronger.”

On that day, Zelenskyy also stated that over the past week, Ukrainian long-range drones had struck a number of strategic targets on Russian territory, including an oil refinery in Omsk. According to him, there is now not a single Russian oil refinery left that is out of reach of Ukrainian weapons.
