Due to a fuel shortage, drivers are settling their differences with their fists

The fuel crisis in Russia is beginning to resemble less a practical problem and more a new form of “public entertainment”: while some Russians are trying in vain to fill up their cars, others are already settling scores with their fists right at the gas station pumps.

According to “Censor.NET”, a video has appeared online in which a woman from one of Russia’s regions emotionally recounts that, after waiting in line for several hours, she was still unable to buy fuel. According to her, gas station employees announced that gasoline sales had been suspended.

The woman also complains that due to communication outages, she cannot run her business or contact her husband, and her fuel supply won’t even be enough to get her back home.

“Our power grid isn’t working; I can’t run my business. We can’t fill up our cars. "Damn it, I don’t even have enough to get home," the Russian woman complains.

Other footage that has been released shows two men getting into a fight because of a line at a gas station.

One of them knocked the other to the ground, while the others present, instead of intervening, watched the scuffle and filmed it on their phones.
