Kadyrov Called For Strikes Against NATO Countries

The head of Chechnya demanded that a military operation be launched because of support for Ukraine.

Russia should launch a military operation against NATO countries that are supplying weapons, sharing intelligence, and providing other forms of support to Ukraine, said Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. “If they still don’t understand on their own that Russia won’t stand by patiently and idly watch everything that’s happening, then it’s time… to take all of this and hammer it into their vile NATO throats. As soon as they smell TNT, as soon as they hear the roar of a Kalashnikov and the clang of a T-90, they’ll all understand immediately and come to their senses. It’s time to open fire—and that’s that!” — wrote Kadyrov on his Telegram channel.

According to him, Russia is currently “conducting merciful combat operations,” and this approach needs to be changed, since NATO countries understand “only the language of force.” “As soon as we release the brakes on our war machine, as soon as our millstones begin to grind their bones, all Western leaders will line up to offer their deepest apologies,” Kadyrov noted. He added that Chechen special forces units are ready to advance in any direction specified by Vladimir Putin and are “literally burning with the desire to carry out highly complex orders” so that the ground “blazes beneath the feet of Russia’s enemies.”

At the July summit in Ankara, NATO countries pledged to provide Ukraine with 70 billion euros in military aid in 2026 and at least the same amount in 2027. The Alliance’s final joint declaration emphasized that Ukraine contributes to transatlantic security, and the allies reaffirmed their “unwavering support” for the country in defending its freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

At the same time, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington would transfer technology to Kyiv for the production of Patriot air defense systems capable of shooting down ballistic missiles. Sources at the Financial Times claimed that the Americans are also providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with intelligence for strikes on Russian oil refineries. Trump himself said that such attacks could bring the war closer to an end.
